He was formerly signed to the WWE under the ring name “The Rock”, in which he won nine WWE Championships. He later transitioned into acting, and is now signed to both be a part of the WWE and appear in films.
Johnson’s first appearance was as “Rocky Maivia” in the 1996 film Surviving the Game , and his breakthrough was in 2001, appearing in the movie The Scorpion King . He has since become known for his roles in various action and comedy films.
