George Timothy Clooney is an American very famous Actor, Producer, filmmaker and director. He was born on May 6, 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA. He is a winner of two Academy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards. He has also won the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. He is a versatile and professional actor. Without any doubt, he is one of the best actors in the World. He is also in the list of the most influential people of the world.
Early life
His father, Nicholas Joseph Clooney is a former anchor person and has spent five years on AMC network. Her mother Nina Bruce was a city councilwoman and a beauty queen. Clooney is of German, Irish and English descent. He was raised in a strict Roman Catholic family yet he is not a strong believer of Catholic. He holds agnostic beliefs. He started his early education at the Blessed Sacrament School in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. He played baseball and basketball while he was studying at Augusta High School, Kentucky. From 1979 to 1981, he attended Northern Kentucky University and his major was broadcast journalism.
Career
Before starting his professional acting career, he raised money selling insurance door to door, working in constructions, selling women shoes and cutting tobacco. In 1978, Clooney started his acting career to play a role as an extra in the television mini-series “Centennial”. He appeared in his first major role in the short-lived sitcom ER in 1984 that aired on CBS. In 1994, he got fame from his role as Dr. Doug Ross on the hit medical drama aired on NBC channel and it was a major breakthrough of his career.
In 1996, he played his first major role in the horror comedy crime thriller movie “From Dusk till Dawn”. Clooney played a role in the commercially very successful film “The Perfect Storm” in 2000.
He appeared in sequel films Ocean’s Eleven (2001), Ocean’s Twelve (2004) and Ocean’s Thirteen (2007). In 2002, He made his directorial debut in “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind”. This film did not do well at the box office.
In 2006, he appeared in the films “The Good German”. This film was made in the context of World War II Germany. In the same year, Clooney and Grant Heslov started the television and film production company “Smokehouse Pictures”.
In 2009, he voiced the title character in an animated comedy film “Fantastic Mr. Fox”. One of his top performance comedy-drama films released in the same year “Up in the Air”. For his outstanding performance in the film, he was nominated for an Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
In 2010, Clooney’s action thriller film “The American” was released. In this film, he played the lead role and he was also the producer of this film.
In 2011, he starred in a comedy-drama film “The Descendants”. In this film he earned not just critical praise but also won the Golden Globe Award for best actor and Broadcast Film Critics Association Award.
Till now he has completed many successful projects. His latest directorial project “Suburbicon” was released in 2017.

Clooney first married with an American television and film actress Talia Balsam in 1989. But their relationship soon ended in 1993. He had been dating and relationships with many gorgeous ladies including actress Kelly Preston, actress Ginger Lynn Allen, French reality TV personality Celine Balitran, actress Elisabetta Canalis and many others. He also dated farmer WWE personnel Stacy Keibler.
In 2014, he became engaged to British-Lebanese human rights activist and barrister Amal Alamuddin. On September 27, 2014, Clooney and Alamuddin were officially married at Ca Farsetti, Venice, Italy. Alamuddin gave birth to twins, a daughter Ella and a son Alexander on June 6, 2017.
