Shannon Ashley Garcia or better known as Shay Mitchell is a Canadian actress, model, entrepreneur, and author. She is best known as for playing Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars.
She was born on April 10, 1987 in Mississauga Ontario. She was raised by hard-working parents that always supported her passion for acting. She also has a little brother named Sean. When she was little, she began taking dance lessons and other performing arts, that would lead her to falling in a career of acting.
Beginning of career
At the age of 10 she moved to British Columbia and then got casted as a model for an international modeling agency. By her late teens she had already modeled for many places such as Barcelona, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. After signing her first theoretical agency, she then appeared in the 2001 Next Generation book.
Pretty Little Liars & More
After her appearances in music videos and TV shows she finally got casted to play Emily fields in pretty little liars. This show that was from 2010 to 2017, this has made her very successful and well-known including her three other cast mates.
After the end of her show, she began to represent for pan teen shampoo fusion and gamble. Later on, she became the spokesperson for many famous brands like American eagle in Nike. In 2018 she started her YouTube channel that what give fans and insight to her daily life and stories about her shows.
Not only is she continuously hard-working she also defaults her time to be associated in a We charity campaign that allows networks to create instructive educational assets for others.
